I wanted to start a blog, what’s the first thing I do to avoid writing? create a logo. It is silly but somehow this turned out to be my first post here. Another episode of creative procrastination.

Creating your own logo is not so hard, if you feel like trying you just need to use some free tools and spend a couple of hours wandering between Youtube videos to learn them.

I have no design background and generally don’t reflect a great sense of taste in colors! 😀 You can ask my wife!

I thought I needed Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, I thought I’m doomed if I don’t pay money. Then, in a not-so-dark part of the internet Inkscape glowed saving me a lot of money.

My first trials were a complete mess, I almost went with the one below!

Thankfully I hustled again after asking for many inputs and reached the current logo.
